ChemAxon's 2008 European User Group Meeting will be held on Wednesday May 7th to Thursday May 8th at the Thermal Hotel, Visegrad, Hungary (nearby Budapest).

Developer Training and User Workshop. May 6th 9.00, Thermal Hotel

We will be hosting two tracks for Developer Training and an End User Workshop followed by "Live Forum" Sessions at ChemAxon's offices.

User Group Meeting May 7th-8th.

The meeting will include user oral and poster presentations from ChemAxon users, partners and developers with plenty of opportunity to meet with developers and work through problems.

As with our previous meetings we would encourage attendees to let us know what they would like to see during the meeting and ask you to let us know either through the Meeting Registration or posting a comment to the UGM forum.

Meeting costs

The cost of the 2 day meeting is Euro 270 for corporate attendees and 150 for academics. For the Workshop day Euro 350 for corporate attendees and 180 for academics. Prices here don't include VAT which is 20% at the moment. The cost includes all breaks, lunches and the meeting banquet but doesn't include accommodation.

Lightning round presentations

Starting the Thursday morning session (May 8), ChemAxon Partners will be giving brief overviews of how ChemAxon adds value to their products and services.

Partner Exhibition

Throughout the Thursday, Partners will be hosting an exhibition session where attendees can meet and find out more about Partner products and services.

Thermal bath visits, Meeting mornings at 07.00

On both mornings of the meeting there will be early visits to the excellent spa facilities available at the hotel. Spa lovers do bring your swimsuits.

Garden party at the office - Tuesday 6th evening at 18.00 (all participants)

A relaxed get together up on the hill to meet with email and forum friends and other UGM and training workshop attendees.

Those wishing to attend should gather at the hotel foyer at 17.00 and 18.00 where buses will be waiting to take attendees to the party. Return transport is also provided. For local attendees and those arriving directly from the airport please see our office location map

Renaissance Banquet - Wednesday 7th evening at 18.00 (all participants)

A trip to the Summer Palace to gather a feeling of the times then a short walk along the river to the Solomon Tower for a medieval tournament followed by a banquet at the Renaissance Restaurant.

All participants are invited and should gather at the hotel foyer at 17.50, all transportation will be provided.
