Java / Database developer

Urgently needed.

Location: Graphisoft Park, Budapest, Hungary.

ChemAxon is a leading cheminformatics software company with international clients mostly in the pharmaceutical, biotech and scientific publishing industries.

Requirements:

  • MSc or higher degree in IT or related field
  • Solid Java programming skills
  • Intimate familiarity with JDBC and SQL
  • Working experience with a commercial relational database
  • Good written and verbal communication in English

Advantages:

  • Experience with Oracle databases
  • Experience with tools like Eclipse, JUnit, Ant or SVN
  • Chemistry knowledge is an advantage, but not required

Tasks:

  • Development and enhancement of (mainly) database functionality
  • Speed and memory requirement enhancements
  • Parallelization to computational clusters
  • Technical support (Tier 1-4)
