The maximum common structure of two molecules is the largest subgraph common to both chemical structures. Such graphs can be constructed with respect to properties associated to atoms and bond. In this example bond type, atom type, and formal charges were considered. Using these constraint the largest structure that can be found in both molecules is highlighted in red.
