There are many possibilities to arrive in Budapest Ferihegy International Airport, the airport closest to the event location.
Within Europe there are many direct flights, either from Malev (Hungarys flag carrier) or the flag carrier of the country you are departing from. In addition there are many 'low cost' arilines flying direct to Budapest (often with prices in the order of 50 Euro each way). A full list of regular flights is given here.
For transit from further afield Malev operates direct flights from New York, Toronto and Beijing. You should consult you local flag carrier for other direct flights. Alternatively connections from popular hubs, such as London, Frankfurt and Amsterdam can use frequent connections either by flag carriers or low cost alternatives. For your information Budapest is approximately 2.5 hours from London, 2 hours from Amsterdam and 1 hour from Frankfurt.

Post subject: Transportation to and from the airport to the event hotel

We have arranged for for a taxi service for Training/Workshop participants from the airport (Ferihegy) to the event hotel.
For UGM only attendees please do arrive (May 6th) at the Budapest offices for the Garden Party (from 6,30) and transport is provided to the event hotel after the party. If you are arriving early on May 6th, do feel free to arrive early and leave your luggage at our office.
Arrival May 5th
If you would like to access the taxi collection service from the airport please contact "tcojocar__@__chemaxon__.__com" and forward your i) flight number, ii) arrival date and time and iii) the names and number of people in the party traveling with you and Tunde will be in touch to confirm. We will need this information by April 28th to ensure correct pre-booking. Alternatively see the "Standard Taxi Information" and hotel details below.
May 6th
Please arrive at ChemAxon garden party (location) and transport to the event hotel will be provided after the party
Departure May 8th.
Shuttle bus leaves the hotel at 6pm following the meeting to Ferihegy 1, 2A and 2B
May 9th
Shuttle bus leaves the hotel at 9am to Ferihegy 1, 2A and 2B
Standard taxi services
From the airport you can use the standard airport taxi service (Zona taxi) you should provide the Hotel location information (see below) to the dispatcher/taxi driver upon exiting from the arrivals hall.
To the airport do contact the hotel concierge to arrange local taxi services, please note that taxi arrival may not be immediate and pre-booking at least 1 hour is advised.
