There are four options to specify the query structure:
| a) | Click the Query Structure in the property grid to open a file. |
| b) | Drag the file containing the query structure over the picture box. |
| c) | Double click the picture box to draw the structure for the query. |
| d) | Paste a structure from the clipboard by using the "Paste" right-click menu item over the picture box. |
Search Method
You can select JChem Cartridge and JChem Base search method. In case of views, it is not possible to recognize the indexed columns from schema, therefore all possible search methods are displayed. You have to select manually both the search method and the column with structure.
Search Type
You can select: substructure, similarity, full, duplicate, superstructure and full fragment search type.
Specify hit coloring and alignment
Hit coloring and alignment of structures are turned on by default. The default color for hits is red, for non-hits it is gray.
Turn off hit coloring and alignment
Set Hit Coloring to False.
