JChem Plugin

By default, JChem for SharePoint installs the initial version of the JChem plugin for JChem.NET API. The binaries are deployed during the installation step described earlier and the most of the configuration settings are created during the database provisioning step. Each plugin needs to have some standard properties, which can be accessed from the Manage Plugins page by selecting the Edit link from the dropdown menu associated to each plugin from the grid (see below).

In addition, each plugin can define its custom settings from the page defined in the highlighted section. In order to be able to use the chemical computation features of the JChem.NET API, you need to set a license file for it obtained from the ChemAxon Sales department. Navigate back to Manage Plugins and click the name of the JChem Plugin (JChem[1.0.0.0]). You will be transferred to the page defined above where you have to upload the license file.
