After deploying the JchemSearchBackend.wsp in SharePoint 2010. The solution package will copy all the required files into the "14 hive". A short summary of the files those are copied and what they are used for.

 

JChem Indexing Service

{14 hive}\ChemAxon\JChemSearch\Indexing Service

The windows service is located here. There is a log file in the directory named jcdix.log which contains additional information about crawling/indexing. After a full crawl administrator might find useful information in this log about how the windows service performed. For more information please check the Deploy Server Components section.

 

JChem Query Service

{14 hive}\ChemAxon\JChemSearch\Query Service

This service is a standard SharePoint web service, which can be found between the SharePoint web services in the IIS. This service will serve the end user queries.

JChem license file is copied here by the jcsadm.exe tool. For more information please check the License Installation section.
