Both sides requires prerequisites to be installed and configured and both sides may require some pre-actions to be completed.
Prerequisites for the server side:
| • | Oracle 11g database installed and configured |
| • | Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Server installed and configured |
| • | JChem .NET API 5.5 installed |
| • | JChem Cartridge installed. Please take a look at the cartridge deployment guide here |
Prerequisites for the client side:
| • | Java 6 installed and configured |
| • | Javascript enabled web browser (Internet Explorer 9 is recommended) |
| • | Optional: ChemDraw 12.0 (for structure editing) |
Note: JChem For SharePoint Search application uses the capabilities of the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, so the SharePoint Foundation 2010 Search edition may not work correctly with JChem For SharePoint Search. |
