Hi all,

I am trying to installing the JChem for Excel for evaluation but encountered a problem during the installation. The message window showed "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2908."

I appreciate it very if you could help me to solve this problem.

Thanks,

Jifeng

Dear Jifeng,

I think the problem could be, that the .NET Framework is missing from you computer. Please download and install it from the following location:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=5B2C0358-915B-4EB5-9B1D-10E506DA9D0F&displaylang=en

Most probably you will need the following: NetFx20SP2_x86.exe

In the next version 1.1.3, we will have also installers bundled with .NET Framework.

Best regards,

Tamas.

Dear Rakesh,

have you tried to install .NET Framework with SP2?

Please check the previous post.

Regards,

Tamas.
